PBT, Polybutylene terephthalate, its softness, abrasion resistance and elasticity are similar to those of nylon. Their chemical properties are similar to those of PET fibers. Since the molecules of PBT fibers can move freely, PBT fibers have excellent tensile and compressive elasticity and wrinkle resistance. PBT can be boiled dyed under normal pressure with disperse dyes.
